Horizon Milk vs Happy Valley

These two milks are very much the same.  They are both organically treated with no added hormones, whole white milk.  Also they are both around the same price, $4 per half gallon.  The Horizon Milk did have a slightly more creamy oily taste to it.  I am not sure if that is because of the DHA Omega fatty acids added.  The Happy Valley tasted more along with what I was expecting for whole milk to taste.  I prefer the taste of the Happy Valley over the Horizon. 

Gaz-Zuds Foam Force Maker

 

I was very disappointed with this product.  Just by judging on the pictures of the box this seemed like it would be a very enjoyable toy for a child.  The big disappointment was due to the low amount of foamy bubbles this toy makes.  I used this toy twice and this was the best that it performed for me.  Did required 3 double A batteries.  Considering that I was inside with zero wind interference, this is a pitiful toy. 

Five Guys Cheese Burger and French Fries

I have always seen this restaurant getting awards for best burger in town.  I decided to get them a try.  I was astonished by the prices that they were charging.  I walked out of Five Guys hold a cheese burger ($6.59), a medium fries($3.29), and a medium drink($1.99).  The damage was $12.50 after fees and taxes.  They don't have any combo options like every other restaurant around.  I don't mind paying a high cost when the food deserves it.  All of the toppings, except for cheese and bacon, are free.  I got my cheese burger topped with grilled onions, ketchup, mustard, and lettuce.  These grilled onions maybe touched the grill for 15 seconds.  Not what I'd call "grilled".  The patty was fresh, but not cooked well done even though it took 10 mins to cook.  The burger was greasy and hard to handle.  The fires were okay, just like any other places fries.  They did have some skin on them.  Not sure if they were trying to be healthier.  Did not have a lot of salt taste that some do have.  They were certainly not worth the price charged.  Overall I give Five Guys a DON'T BUY. 

Luncable Turkey Sub with Smoothie

The Lunchables with Smoothie is a DON'T BUY.  This was too costly and not very good.  There was only one good thing about this and it was the two Oreo cookies.  The bread for the sub was hard and bland.  The turkey and cheese were low in the amount.  The worst part of this was the smoothie.  It was not a smoothie at all.  It was only juice, and it even says 100% juice on the wrapper.  I was sad to have this such of a bad review on an item that I enjoyed so much as a child. 

 

Samuel Adams White Lantern

The Samuel Adams White Lantern is a Belguim Styled Beer.  Infused with orange peel, hops, and Belgium Wheats.  This was a citrus tasting beer.  If you would like a sweet tasting orange and tangerine type beer, then this is the one for you.  

Gansito Chocolate and Strawberry Cakes

The Gansito from Marinela is very tasting.  Comes with eight cakes and this was only $3.50.   Kinda like a Twinkie but a lot better.  These are cakes with strawberry and whipped cream inside, dunked in chocolate and has chocolate sprinkles on top.  The strawberry filling was very good.  This is an easy BUY. 

Kashi Coconut Chocolate Bar

The Kashi Coconut Chocolate Bar is a DON'T BUY.  The first thing is the price.  It cost $4.50 for only 6 tiny bars.  The reason for this high price is that these are healthier than the others.  I don't think that its true.  If your looking for a healthy bar, don't look for chocolate coconut in the first place.  But the taste of these were terrible too.  If it was a good tasting bar, I would not be so harsh, but it truly was awful.  The chocolate was a fudge texture and did not have a good taste to it.  The coconut was not an added bonus to this bar.  I recommend getting bananas instead of this bar for two reasons.  One, it would be cheaper, and two, better tasting. 

Pamper's vs Generic

I look at the differences between a Pampers Diaper verses a generic diaper.  I have been using Pampers ever since my daughter was born.  Only recently I noticed the price difference in diapers.  I tried the generics and give my perspective of what I have noticed.  I think even with the price cut, the generic is not the better diaper.  My daughter walks around differently while wearing the generic diaper.  The generic diaper must rub her thighs wrong.  The generic diaper feels more plastic and the Pampers feels more cotton-like.  I will continue to buy the Pampers

Little Caesar's Pepperoni Pizza

Little Ceaser's Pepperoni Pizza is a good deal.  With no waiting for the pizza and a low price for at 5 bucks, there's not a lot not to like.  The pizza is a decent taste. Each slice has a well amount of cheese on them.  The crust is very good, and some how taste different than the rest of the pizza.  There is not a lot of pizza sauce on the slices.  Because of the convenience factor and low price, I give this a BUY.

Blue Moon

With the word 'Belgium' all over this beer, I was surprised to see that it was from Golden, Colorado, USA.  I found this to be creamy, smooth, and a little bit citrus.  Recommended to be served in a Pilsner glass garnished with an orange on the rim.  I would agree about the orange, which the acidity and sweetness would be very complementary to this brew.  

Taco Bell's Grillers

I compare all three of Taco Bell's Grillers.  The Beefy Nacho comes with seasoned beef covered in warm nacho cheese sauce and crisp red strips for crunch, wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla and grilled.  The Loaded Potato comes with crispy potato bites covered with warm nacho cheese sauce, bacon, sour cream and wrapped in a flour tortilla and grilled.  The Spicy Chicken comes with marinated and grilled, all-white meat chicken, spicy lava sauce, sour cream wrapped in a flour tortilla and grilled.   The Beefy Nacho was the best tasting.  I was surprised that I liked the Loaded Potato, because its not the normal type of burrito.  The Loaded Potatoes were good with the bacon bits and sour cream.  The Spicy Chicken was actually spicy, but does not taste that well.  The chicken seemed too processed and the spicy sauce was too much.   Beefy Nacho is a BUY.  Loaded Potato is a BUY.  Spicy Chicken is a DON'T BUY.

McDonald's Fish McBites

Fish Bites are a BUY.  I thought that this was a good meal and was very meaty.  I tried it with ketchup, tartar sauce, and by itself.  I thought that the tartar sauce was the best.  If you like fish or even chicken then this would be a good snack for you.

YoCrunch with Chips Ahoy

YoCrunch with Chips Ahoy is a BUY.  Very simple in the design, yogurt mixed with crunched cookie.  Great combination and good price.

Taco Bell's Doritos Cool Ranch Taco

  I find it to be a little bit too hyped up.  The Cool Ranch is hard to distinguish while eating with the meat, cheese, and lettuce, but while licking your lips or eating the shell by itself you do get the cool ranch taste.  It is good, and a neat thing to try but not amazing. But this is still a BUY, only because its not that much more than a normal taco. 

Scrabble's Catch Phrase

  This game is very fun to play.  I like that you don't have to keep up with cards, money, or other pieces like some games.  This has over 1000 phrases to say and is up today with today's celebrities and world leaders.  This make you think fast and know what your partner is trying to say.  This is a BUY.

Jell-O German Chocolate Cake Pudding

Jell-O German Chocolate Cake.  This is a DON'T BUY.  The coconut and nut toppings were too much in there amount and were not very good at all. The jello pudding was not like their chocolate pudding.

Disney's Pixie Dust Suitcase

This is a BUY.  This little suitcase has with stood for several trips and has not skipped a step at all.  Has a lot of room for storage.  Extendable handle allow for many range of ages of enjoyment.   Fun for the kids also. 

Subway Pizza Sub

Subway's Pizza Sub.  This is not on the menu.  Order a Spicy Italian top it with your cheese get it toasted and add marinara sauce.  Top it off with the veggies of your choice and enjoy.  I got it with just green peppers and on white bread.  This is a BUY.  Very good and tasted like a flipped over pizza.

Yuengling Lager

Yuengling is America's oldest brewery.  Also I think that this is only available to the east coast of US.  This is an Amber Lager.  Crisp and cool.  This is a BUY.  Very refreshing and great Price

Mozart Chocolate Balls

If you ever get a chance to have one of these, take it.  I have not had a similar product and one that was so precise in their process.  Each layer has a unique taste and altogether taste great.

Disney's Happy Nappers Winne the Pooh

This is a DON'T BUY.  This does not do much, and my daughter does not play with it or sleep with it because it have a zipper on it.

Bimbo Bimbolete Cakes

Bimbo Bimbolete are chocolate topped sweet rolls with chocolate filling on the inside.  These are great treats.  The chocolate on the inside is great.  Well priced. This is a BUY.

Jell-O Turtle Sundae Pudding

Jell-O's Turtle Sundae is a great snack.  Comes with chocolate chips, pecans, and walnuts for toppings.  The pudding is very tasty, and mixed altogether has a wonderful flavor.  This is a BUY.  Very good taste.

Columbia Omniheat Jacket

I have worn this jacket for 2 winters.  During those winters, I was working outside for 10 hours a day.  I would wear just a t-shirt underneath the jacket and was warm always.  I sometimes was too hot.  I would have to walk through woods while outside.  The jacket never got any tears or rips.  Has big pockets that are easy to get into.  This is a BUY.

Krups Panni Maker

This is a DON'T BUY.  Does cook panni's good and that's all it does well.  I have used this over twenty times.  Terribly hard to clean, no temperature dials, and pricey.  Also I have seen many reports about getting too hot and destroying the inside mechanics.

Hormel Compleats Spaghetti and Meat Sauce

Hormel Spaghetti  and Meat Sauce is ready in one minute in the microwave.  Just remove the plastic wrap, heat, and eat.  The noodles were not soggy or soft, and the sauce was tasty and had a lot of chunks of meat.  Maybe there was a bit too much sauce in this, but it was very good tasting.  This is a BUY.

Burger King's Tender Grill Chicken Sandwich

Burger King's Tender Grill Chicken Sandwich comes with grilled chicken, lettuce, mayo, and a tomato (removed).  This sandwich had a big grilled chicken that was cooked perfectly.  The lettuce was fresh and tasted great with the mayonnaise.   I wanted to like this sandwich, but couldn't.  It was just too plain.  Everything was done well, but other restaurants have better tasting sandwiches.   This is a DON"T BUY.  Also this was $4.50, just for the sandwich.

Arby's Turkey and Cheddar

Arbys Turkey and Cheddar Sandwich comes with sliced turkey, melted cheddar, Arby's zesty red ranch sauce on an Onion Bread Roll.  This would have tasted better if it did not have the zesty sauce and was on a plain roll.  This is a DON"T BUY.  The turkey was dry and did not have a great taste with the onion bread and zesty sauce.  And this was just at 4 dollars.  They did give a good amount of turkey, but it just want good turkey.

Burger King's Hershey Sundae Pie is one of the best dessert's that I have had from a fast food restaurant.  Has a great crunchy chocolate crust.  Chocolate cream filled and topped with Hershey Chocolate Chips.  Very tasty chocolate and whipped cream .  This is a BUY.  Very good and great price.

Taco Bell's Chilli Cheese Burrito

This is a BUY.  Unless you live somewhere that they sill have this on the menu, you'd have to ask for them to make this. Ask for chili sauce, ground beef, and cheese wrapped in a  burrito, all for $1.50.  Its so simple and so good .  I have no clue why they took this off but, I am a huge fan

Arby's Chocolate Molten Lava Cake

Arby's Chocolate Molten Lava Cake.  This is chocolate, chocolate, chocolate.  Chocolate cake, with chocolate sauce inside, topped with chocolate crumbles.  Even of all of the chocolate, it was not too much chocolate.  Would be great if paired with cold milk or even ice cream.  Molten Lava was only 2 dollars and out for limited time.  This is a BUY.

McDonald's Fruit and Yogurt Parfait

Yogurt and Fruit Parfait from McDonalds.  Comes with yogurt, strawberries, and blueberries.  I am not sure if it comes with granola as I did not receive any. The yogurt was very good and did not taste like other yogurts that I have had.  It was icecreamy. The fruit was fresh and not soggy.  Its a great dessert choice and only for a dollar.  This is a BUY.

McDonald's Grilled Onion Cheddar

This is a BUY.  The Grilled Onion Cheddar from McDonald's comes with grilled onions and a slice of white cheddar cheese and a patty.  Very good and just a buck.  The grilled onions made the patty taste like it had more pepper.  The patty was a bit thin.

International Delight's Iced Coffee Vanilla

This was very strong tasting for me.  I don't like coffee but do like coffee flavored things, so I thought I'd try this.  I had to put mix it with milk for it to be good to drink for me.  But if you enjoy coffee then this should be good.  It has real Arabica beans and low in calories.

Zaxby's Boneless Buffalo Fingers

Zaxby's Boneless Buffaloe Fingers with sweet and spicy sauce.  This was very good, and my only complaint was that I only got 5.  You can chose your sauce from Zaxby's 9 different choices.  This was more sweet than spicy, and taste like an asian sauce.  The chicken was tender and meaty.  Tasted great in Zaxby;s Ranch Sauce.  This is a BUY.

Hardee's Atlantic Cod Fish Sandwich

Hardee's Cod Fish Sandwich comes with tartar sauce, mayo, charbroiled cod, lettuce, and tomato (removed) on a honey wheat bun.  This was very tasty.  The cod was cooked great.  Flaky and could be eaten alone.  Although it was a bit thin, it was delicious.  This is a BUY.

Taco Bell Baja Blast Freeze

Taco Bell's Baja Blast Freeze taste just like the soda.  So I'm not sure why you'd want to pay more for this.  This is a DON'T BUY.

Dairy Queen's Banana Split

Dairy Queen's Banana Split comes with three different flavor topping; chocolate, pineapple, and strawberry.  I was surprised to see real fruit in the topping sauces.  The strawberry was great and so was the chocolate.  The pineapple was okay tasting.  They give you a lot of ice cream.  Also topped with whipped cream.  The banana was flavorful and great in the chocolate syrup.  This cost around 4 dollars.  This is a BUY.

Hardee's Turkey Jalapeno Burger

Hardee's Turkey Jalapeno Burger comes with red onion(removed), tomato(removed), lettuce, jalapeno coins, mayo, and a turkey patty on a honey wheat bun.  The turkey was juicy and meaty.  This had just the right amount of hotness.  I was afraid that the jalapenos would be too hot, but they were just right.  It did cost me 4 dollars for this sandwich.  This is a BUY.

Taco Bell's Half Pound Beef Combo Burrito

Taco Bell's Half Pound Beef Burrito comes with double the beef, beans, cheddar cheese, red sauce, and chopped onions.   This is not spicy at all.  The meat is great with the beans and sauce.  The onions add a flavor, but aren't to overpowering.  This cost me $2.30.  This is a BUY.

Arby's French Dip with Swiss

This is Arby's Roast Beef French Dip Sandwich with Au Jus for dipping.  Comes with good amount of roast beef and melted swiss cheese.  Very good alone, great when dipped in the au jus.  The Italian bread just absorbs the sauce and gives the sandwich a better taste.  The au jus is hot and this would be a good meal in cold weather.  This was 4 dollars and a good BUY.

Taco Bell's Beef Enchirito

A warm, soft flour tortilla wrapped around seasoned beef, hearty beans, diced onions, real cheddar cheese, and tangy red sauce.  Taco Bell's Beef Enchirito is very tasty.  Packs a little bit of spice.  Awesome price for such a great item.  This is a BUY.  Also available in marinated chicken or steak.
